NH Groningen stands centrally on the Hanzeplein, beside the University Medical Center and within easy reach of the lively student city's historic core. Its 127 rooms follow a fresh white-and-green scheme with carpeted or hardwood floors, and many enjoy city views. The Hanzebeker restaurant serves international and local dishes, while the popular NOSH café tempts with freshly baked cakes, flavoured ice creams and healthy bites. Three function rooms on the quiet tenth floor are filled with natural light and sweeping views. The Grote Markt, Martini Tower, Groninger Museum and Noorderplantsoen park lie a short walk away, making it a comfortable base for exploring.
