Santa Ponça
Santa Ponça is a pleasant and well-equipped resort on the southwest coast of Mallorca, combining good beaches, an excellent marina, outstanding golf courses and beautiful access to the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and the historic town of Andratx. Less busy than Palma or Magaluf, Santa Ponça provides a quieter and more family-oriented base for exploring western Mallorca.

The beach at Santa Ponça is an excellent blue flag beach with good facilities and relatively calm water. The golf courses nearby are among the best on Mallorca with several championship courses within easy reach. The Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is approximately 30 minutes by road with beautiful villages including Deià, Valldemossa and Sóller. Port d'Andratx, one of Mallorca's most charming harbours, is nearby. Palma with its magnificent Gothic cathedral is approximately 30 minutes east.
