El Arco, the dramatic granite arch at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula where the two seas meet, is one of Mexico's most iconic natural landmarks and provides spectacular views from boat trips departing from the Cabo San Lucas marina. The fishing here, particularly for marlin, dorado and yellowfin tuna, is among the finest Pacific sport fishing available anywhere in the world. The golf courses of the Los Cabos corridor, including Jack Nicklaus-designed Palmilla and Quivira, are among the finest in Mexico. Whale shark encounters are available from the nearby Magdalena Bay. Grey whale watching at Laguna San Ignacio is world class from January to April.
