Fuqing
Fuqing is a coastal city in Fujian province near Fuzhou, known primarily as a major manufacturing and industrial centre with significant overseas Chinese heritage connections. The city provides convenient access to Fuzhou, the provincial capital, and to the broader coastal attractions of Fujian including Pingtan Island, one of China's largest islands with beautiful beaches accessible within an hour by road.
