Elect's take
"Bengaluru has an energy and a cosmopolitan character that I find genuinely engaging. The food scene here is outstanding and diverse, the craft beer culture is the finest in India and the combination of green parkland and vibrant neighbourhoods creates a city with a very enjoyable quality of life."
The craft beer scene in Bengaluru is the most developed in India with breweries including Toit, Arbor and Windmills producing excellent ales, IPAs and seasonal beers in a culture that has grown remarkably in the past decade. The restaurant scene is exceptionally diverse with outstanding South Indian, North Indian and international restaurants across Indiranagar, Koramangala and the CBD. Cubbon Park provides beautiful green space in the heart of the city. The Bangalore Palace is a beautifully eccentric Victorian-Tudor building. Nagarhole National Park and Kabini, approximately 3 hours south, provide excellent tiger and elephant wildlife experiences.
