Sao Beach on the southeastern coast is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, a long crescent of impossibly white sand and shallow turquoise water that rivals anywhere in Southeast Asia. Long Beach on the western coast provides the main resort strip with excellent sunset views and a good range of restaurants and bars. The Phu Quoc Night Market in Duong Dong Town is outstanding for seafood, local pepper products and fish sauce culture.
